While it is true that the environment and our changing lifestyle today have made us more susceptible to Cancer, the tremendous improvement in the survival rates and quality of life post-recovery, cannot be ignored. Cancer that develops in the tissues of the oral cavity ie. from the lips,backwards till the front part of the tonsils is called oral cancer. The most common cancer type, it is reported to claim approximately 1.6 million lives worldwide, every year. Also known as Blood Cancer, this one affects the bone marrow and blood cells. The bad/ immature cells affect the healthy cells which lead to increased risk, fatigue and reduced immunity. In this case, the cancer tissue starts to form in the kidney, especially in the inner lining – the renal cell carcinoma and renal pelvis carcinoma.
