What does the Shriram Life New Akshay Nidhi cover?
The Shriram Life New Akshay Nidhi is a comprehensive insurance policy that provides financial
protection to the policy holders' families. The policy covers three key areas to ensure that the
policy holders' loved ones are taken care of in case of unexpected events -
Death Benefit
In case of demise of the life assured during the Policy tenure, the nominees or beneficiaries will receive the sum assured on demise along with the Accrued Reversionary Bonus (if any) and Terminal Bonus (if any). The demise Benefit will be higher than 10 times the Annualised premium payments or Basic Sum Assured.
Maturity Benefit
In case of survival of the life assured up to the end of the Policy tenure, the policy holders will receive the Accrued Reversionary Bonuses and Terminal Bonuses (if any).
Survival Benefit
In case of survival of the life assured up to the end of every fifth year, the policy holders will receive periodical payments as a percentage of the Basic Sum Assured, depending on the Policy tenure.
Additional Protection via Riders
The policy also provides the option to add riders such as Accident Benefit Rider, Family Income Benefit Rider, Shriram Critical Illness Plus Rider, and Shriram Extra Insurance Cover Rider. These riders provide additional coverage for accidental demise, critical illnesses, and disability, ensuring that the policy holders' family is taken care of in case of unexpected events.
