How to update my Aadhaar/PAN number?

Why is nomination required?
Nomination is required because the nominated person claims the amount from the Life Insurance Company in case of the death of the Life Assured.
How can I change nominee details?
You can make or change nomination anytime during the policy term of your active policies by submitting a nominee change request form along with self-attested KYC copies of Policyholder as well nominee KYC by utilizing any of the following policy service avenues. In case, you have not added a nomination during policy application, you must add a nomination for easy settlement of claims.

How can I get revival/ renewal quotation of my policy?
You can enquire about a revival/ renewal quotation through call, email, ShriA, or by visiting the SLIC branch nearest to you. Customers can find the email address and phone number on the SLIC website.
How do I apply for loan on my policy?
You can apply for loan on your traditional policy after completion of lock-in period and depending upon policy terms & condition. For details, please refer the loan section of your policy document. To apply for a loan, you can visit any of our branches.
How do I disclose additional information about myself after issuance of the policy?
Write to us at customercare@shriramlife.in to include additional information to your policy. This information can be related to medical conditions, occupational change which may have an impact on your health, insurance cover with other companies, change in habits, change of residential status to NRI, etc.
What is policy assignment? How can I assign my policy?
Policy assignment is a method of transferring all benefits and rights under a life insurance policy to another person or institution. Assignment or transfer of a life insurance policy may be made by serving a notice of assignment in the prescribed format to the new insurer. And the new insurer will affect assignment by making an endorsement to that effect in the policy document. For assignment, please visit nearest SLIC branch.
Can I change the assignment of my policy?
Changing the assignment of your policy will only be possible if the policyholder decides to assign it to you. By reassigning the policy in your favour, you will have the right to deal with the policy.
What are riders? What are the various riders offered by SLIC?
The additional benefits, over and above the benefits available under the insurance policy, that a policyholder may be entitled to at an extra cost are called Add – on benefits or Riders. SLIC offers the following riders: Accident Benefit Rider, Extra Insurance Cover, Critical Illness Cover, Family Income Benefit
How can I create a login on the website?
You can create an account by clicking on the “Login” button on the right end corner of the website home page. Select Sign Up as “Customer” for the Customer Login. Enter all the fields which are mandatory and click on the “Register” button.
