What coverages are offered in the Shriram Life Smart Protection Plan?
Shriram Life Smart Protection Plan offers three coverage options. The options and their respective coverage are as follows:
Silver (Life Cover)
This option covers premature demise. If the insured passes away during the policy term, the death sum assured is paid.
Gold (Life Cover with in-built Accidental Death Benefit)
This option has an inbuilt accidental death benefit. So, if the insured passes away during the policy term, the death sum assured is paid. An additional death sum assured is paid if the insured dies in an accident.
Diamond (Life Cover with in- built Accelerated Critical Illness Benefit)
This option shall be chosen at the time of proposal only and cannot be changed during the policy term. The premium rates under the three options will vary based on the type of option chosen

# Risk cover starts from the date of commencement of policy for all lives including minors. In case of a minor life, the policy will vest on the Life Assured on the attainment of age 18 years.

The minimum premium amounts are exclusive of taxes and levies as applicable.
