How To Claim
You can submit Death Claims, Disability Claims, Cancer Care Claims and Critical Illness Claims on our website by following the simple steps provided below:

Step 01
Navigate to the claim center and click on the "Intimate Claim" button.
Step 02
From the available options in the dropdown menu, select "Death."
Step 03
Enter the details of the insured person, including the cause of death
Step 04
Complete the claimant's personal information, including bank account details, and upload the necessary supporting documents
Document to be uploaded for Death Claim
- Death Certificate: Issued by Municipal or local/Govt. Authority (Original or attested copy).
- Claim Forms: Claim form A, B, C & E as applicable
- Medical/Hospital Records: Admission notes, test records, Death/Discharge summary, etc. (where ever applicable).
- Proof of Relationship: Documents establishing the relationship of the Nominee/Claimant with the Life Assured.
- Original Policy Bond
- Bank Details: Photocopy of Bank Passbook or cancelled cheque with pre-printed name of the Nominee/ Claimant.

- Post Mortem Report

A death benefit is a payout to the nominee/beneficiary of a life insurance policy, annuity or pension when the insured or annuitant dies.
What are documents are needed to submit a death claim?
Documents required for making a death claim are:
- Death Certificate (from local authority)
- Filled Claim Forms (A, B, C & E – where ever applicable)
- Medical Records (if treated in hospital)
- Proof of relationship with the insured
- Bank details of the nominee (passbook copy or cancelled cheque)
- Original Policy Document
For unnatural deaths (like accident or suicide), we also need:
• FIR copy
• Post Mortem Report
• Final Police Report
• Newspaper clipping (if available)
How long will it take to process claim?
Once all documents are submitted, it usually takes about 15days to process the claim.
