What Coverages Are Offered in Shriram Life Online Term Plan?
Coverage under the Shriram Life Online Term Plan is available for the following contingencies -
Premature Demise
The Shriram Life Online Term Plan is a pure term insurance policy that covers the risk of a premature demise. If the life insured passes away during the policy tenure, the sum assured is paid.
Terminal Illness
The coverage for terminal illness is inbuilt under the plan. If the life insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness during the policy tenure, the sum assured is paid.
Total and Permanent Disability
If the life insured suffers a total and permanent disability in an accident, the plan would waive the future premiums. The coverage would, however, continue for the chosen tenure or till premature demise.
Optional Cover
The Shriram Life Online Term Plan provides two optional coverage benefits that you can add to the base plan for enhancing coverage. These optional covers are as follows -
- Accident Death Benefit
This benefit covers accidental death and pays the accident benefit sum assured in a lump sum in addition to the benefit received under the base plan.
- Critical Illness
Under this benefit, 23 specified illnesses are covered. If the life insured is diagnosed with any of the covered illnesses within the policy tenure, a lump sum benefit would be paid.
